Curtains of Commerce is constructed of woven yellow book pages which are sewn with black thread-in random patterns. Woven and sewn dollar and cents signs hang as fringe. Selected for their color, many pages are cars, insurance, lawyer and physicians ads. Curtains of Commerce won first prize in the fiber art/sculpture/video category. close window
